Default Late Model Top Installation

Hi guys- I am new here, I have a 66 Convert in need of a top. I have a top that I paid $50 that someone tried to install and gave up. They made a mess of the rear window so I will obtian a new one. The remainder of the kit is good and the pads and well are included. I know the job can not be easy, however I am very patient and cheap.
I do not have the money to have it done and right now, I can not even drive the car with the top up. Anything I can do will be better than what is there. I see a few posts here and there but nothing really outlines the process. I have the factory assembly manual and the top came with the instructions. My car is due home from the body shop in a few weeks and I am determined to do the top! I will not give in to fear! Any help would be great! Thanks and I look forward to chatting with you all.

What you need is the official Chevrolet Corvair Body Manual. Clarks sells reprints. It has very detailed instructions.
