I made this very inquiry of Lon for my '70 Olds convertible. Evidently the
Pertronix, if not engine specific, is at the least cylinder-count specific.
ie the Pertronix for a 6 cylinder Corvair won't work on my Olds 8. The
Pertronix ads I've seen in Hemmings are also Manufacturer *and* year of
manufacture specific as well.
