<VV> BRAKE SHOES
Can someone provide me w/first hand experience or advice concerning KEVLAR
brake pads?
I have a Corv-8 and am trying to decide what my best braking option is. This
car is a street/ocassional driver. A disc front end is best I'm sure, but
Kevlar for $120 for 4 wheels is an attractive/cheaper option. My question is:
How do the Kevlar perform compared to Metal linings or Discs? Are Kevlar
adequate for my street application? Is there a combination of Kevlar front,
regular rear that might work ok. I believe I have heard somewhere that like
shoes must be used at all 4 wheels, though disc front drum rear is acceptable.
