here is a trick an old gunny showed me... worked on water jakes for power
tubes...
if a compretion nut OR flare seet is warn from the repeted assembaly and
dissasmbly, take some non acid flux, smeare it on after cleanning it as best
you can...
and using a small torch or very hot soldering gun get it hot and when it is
up to temp toch it with solder so that it flows evenly......
now sumtimes this would require some detailed filing but it will get you up
and running... now with GAS... i would remove from the car and would flush
it out with water.... better safe then in the burn unit at your local
hospital..
