<VV> Door glass -- repair/adhesive

Hi all:

The glass in the driver's door of my 65 has come loose from the window regulator frame. I can pull the glass all the way out of the door -- which is handy, since the crank decided to get stuck in the "up" position at about the same time.

This weekend I hope to pop off the interior door panel and see if I can't un-stuck the crank or regulator. While I'm there, I would like to re-attach the glass to the regulator frame.

- -Should I use some sort of adhesive on the bottom of the window glass to keep it in the frame, or should it stay put on its own? If the former, what sort of adhesive will work?

- -Any other repair tips or pointers to tips would be appreciated. This will be my first attempt at fixing this problem, I couldn't find a relevant article in the tech guide, and I don't own the Body Manual. This is a 65 Corsa convertible.

Thanks!

/Greg
