What makes him say it runs too hot? Head temp? Oil temp? Molten aluminum

It's a turbo engine that somehow stuck a four barrel carb in place of the
turbo setup? Or is it the stock turbo that someone has grafted a 4 BBL on?
Either way, it sounds like a bad combo.

That's bad.... the engine is probably all full of sludge from not warming up
properly on short trips.

Debris covering the cylinder and/or head fins?

Either way, it sounds like a bad combo.
