Dorai,
I have fortunately not had the pleasure of adjusting my PG
rod, but the most common reason for the "jumping" you describe
when you shift from N to D is the vacuum modulator. Make sure
you don't have a vacuum leak on the hose/line that goes from
the middle of the crossover tube in the engine compartment
down to the vacuum modulator on the passenger side of the PG.
Putting that hose back on made a BIG difference in my car.
