<VV> Powerglide adjustments
Can someone please help me? I have this '66 110 powerglide, the problem
is that when I put it in gear it does not go in smoothly it tends to jump a
bit, then it does not shift up till about 30 - 35 mph. I have lowered the
idle as low as it will go. Once the motor is warm it shifts up alright but
it still jumps a bit when I put it in gear. I was looking at the book for
some adjustments. In the book it looks like the pin on the lever attached
to the rod coming out of the tranny, should be 3/8" +-1/16" below the
joint. In my car the pin is about 1" above the joint. Any suggestions are
gladly welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Dorai.
