I'm sure this question has been answered a hundred times before on this
site, but what is the closest radial tire size to the original belted tire?
Although I had planned to get away from Corvairs when I moved to Florida, I
bought a 64 Monza convertible in South Carolina, this weekend. The wheels
and tires on it are the low profile type and I want to keep the OEM look. In
order to tow it back here, I need to buy 4 tires for the 4 stock wheels I
brought back. A private reply would be fine.
