<VV> Seat track extension
In the November '99 Communique there is a Tech Brief by Jeff Kough titled
"Extend Seat Adjustment". I'm interested in trying it but don't have any
spare tracks with which to experiment, so I'm curious whether anyone else
has tried the procedure (besides Jeff, of course!)...
Larry C., I assume you tech reviewed the article and don't have any concerns
about the procedure?
My main reason for wanting to try it (besides needing the legroom, of
course) is that I assume one can't tell a track modified in this manner from
stock. Is that correct? I'd like to make the change in my yellow
convertible, which I try to keep as stock-looking as possible. (I have the
aftermarket seat extenders in my coupe and they definitely don't look
stock.)
Thanks,
- --Kent
