Spyder has come loose from the tank. This is the piece that the fuel pipe
vent rubber piece and the turbo fuel return line connect to. Looks like the
metal piece just popped out of the hole on the top of the tank. I've tried
to work my hands in there to see if I can re-seat it but no go. What is the
consequences if I leave it like that for awhile and drive the car? The tank
is almost full, so I was thinking I could drive it until near empty, drop
the tank and fix it. HELP. >>
Just think! you come to a screeching halt as you make a righthand turn.....
Gas spills out and starts to vaporize...As you slowly move ahead the fumes
hit the hot exhaust pipes......use your imagination...
You've got a "Turbo" with fuel return....where does it go after it enters the
"tube"
Lastly, you say it is almost "full"....you gauge / gage is NG! those
fittings are near the seam...maybe 60% full and GAS RUNS out!...time to
siphon and pull it!
good luck..sorry about your weekend.
