<VV> Gas tank return
To all,
Just noticed today that the small vent tube on the gas tank of my 64
Spyder has come loose from the tank. This is the piece that the fuel pipe
vent rubber piece and the turbo fuel return line connect to. Looks like the
metal piece just popped out of the hole on the top of the tank. I've tried
to work my hands in there to see if I can re-seat it but no go. What is the
consequences if I leave it like that for awhile and drive the car? The tank
is almost full, so I was thinking I could drive it until near empty, drop
the tank and fix it. HELP.
Thanks,
Glenn
