<VV> Ignition combos
I recently got my 68 500 coupe back on the road with a 110 pg. I changed the
ignition system from the point system to electronic. I have a Crane XR700
that I use a the triggering source, a MSD 6A Ignition Box and a MSD Blaster 2
coil. I've noticed that when I inspected the inside of the dist, cap that
there is definate evidence that the arc from the rotor is firing on the very
lead edges of the pins. The timing is 6 inital,10 mechanical and the vaccum
is stopped 15.
Has any one else experienced any obvious "advanced arcing" like this or used
the combination like this? I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks,
